Roche Bobois Paris & Houston Magazine celebrate the release of The Arts Issue and the gathering of five International artists From Laura Rathe Fine Art to reimagine and design custom versions of the iconic Mah Jong sofa.
Jewelry designer Ryan Murphy of Silver Luthier designed custom gothic buttons specially for the sofa.
A live auction of the custon Mah Jong pieces will benefit Dec My Room.
Rogers does live TV interview for Fox 19 Cincinnati in conjunction with her "A Quarter of a Million Miles" show through Miller Gallery, Design Lab and the 2016 Fotofocus Photography Fair.
Rare in the Photography world, and like a painting these prints are one of a kind.
Christy Lee Rogers - "I love the idea of creating something that represents a moment in time, that can never be re-created exactly the same. You put your heart into a work and that essence is there forever. It’s as if you’re giving birth to a new life form. As an original and unique work, there is comfort in knowing as an artist you can now freely move on to the next moment and the next creation. I was born to be a painter, and I release my works like a painter, with about 20 new works a year, yet I create my works with this new medium called Photography. So, it feels right to release them this way."
