Finally, this day has arrived. This record has been simmering gently for so long and is now ready to be out in the world. Albatross is my first full-length album of unique compositions that I have been collecting and shaping over the past six years.
Musically, this 10-piece album moves from the grandiose to the intimate, characteristic of the worlds I depicted under Tambour. Some delicate pieces are intertwined with the lively emotions of the more energetic pieces. Rich in instrumentation and electronic textures, the album is a daring emotional journey, co-produced by Blaise Borboën-Léonard and subtly mixed by Tonio Morin-Vargas. The arrangements for string quartet were sometimes expanded to eight voices, giving the impression of a larger string ensemble.
The album is of course available on your favorite streaming service, but the best listening quality will certainly come from the vinyl record. This 180g clear vinyl edition will give you a listening experience as we imagined it during the making of this album. It is also available on compact disc.
